If you are interested in becoming a food truck/mobile vendor at Centennial Park, please read the information below and complete the application.
As you may know, Centennial Park is operated, maintained, and programmed by the Midland Downtown Park Conservancy, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization. The mission of Centennial Park is to provide a premier green space and gathering place in downtown Midland, enrich the quality of place for our residents and visitors, and act as a catalyst for social and economic growth. This means our park is a public space first and an event venue second.
To get started, we ask that you review our General Park Rule and fill out the Food Truck & Mobile Vendor Application below. All vendors must follow the park rules and submit the required documentation for consideration.
- Parking Hours: Park hours are from 8:00 am to 10:00 pm. Vendors are not permitted to occupy designated parking spaces before or after these times.
- Fees and Taxes: The Vendor shall pay $150 per month for a reserved space.
- Parking: The park will reserve the parking location for the Vendor. Vehicles must be detached from trailers.
- Duties of Vendor: The vendor shall: furnish all items necessary to serve food and/or beverages, clean all areas of food service, sweep, mop, and scrub food debris from the ground adjacent to the vendor’s assigned parking space during and upon the conclusion of service, remove all trash and serving equipment from the park, and keep the parking space area in a clean, orderly.
- Requirements: The following documents are required: health certificate/business license, sales tax ID, fire department certificate, and business liability insurance.
- Prohibited Items: A few items include selling alcohol, glass containers, balloons, confetti, streamers, etc. Please read the General Park Rules for a completed list of prohibited items.
Submission of this application does not guarantee approval. Applicants must allow sufficient time for the park to process the request. Applicants will be notified of the application status within ten (10) business days.
