Desert Island Pan will be giving a free musical performance at Centennial Park form 7:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m. prior to the start of the scheduled Movie in the Park, Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory presented by @Basin PBS that will begin at 8:45 p.m.

"Desert Island Pan" is the stage name for Kevin Broome, West Texas' first (and only) steel pan performer. The name "Desert Island Pan" originated from the idea of bringing the sounds of Trinidad and Tobago, an island nation in the Caribbean Sea and the birthplace of the steel pan (steel drum), to the desert area of West Texas.
